Quality Assurance
_Sonne Language Services is committed to the highest quality language services and customer service. Sonne Language Services abides by the American Translators Association code of ethics, therefore you can be assured that any text submitted for translation will be confidential and translated accurately. To further guarantee the quality of our translations, Sonne Language Services has established the following quality assurance measures:
1. Pre-translation
For quality that goes beyond the office and into our environment, Sonne Language Services aims to reduce paper waste by completing all translations, contracts, invoices and receivables electronically, unless otherwise requested by the client.
1. Pre-translation
- The client will complete a project specification agreement form. (sample provided)
- All projects will be assessed for accurate pricing according to specifications outlined in the form.
- The client and translator will complete and sign a translation contract. (ATA sample provided) This is to ensure the commitment of both parties to the success of the translation project.
- The translator will adhere to all specifications outlined in the specification agreement form.
- Upon completion of the translation, the translator will reassess her translation by a thorough comparison with the original text.
- The translator will then perform a formatting and localization check to confirm that all specifications were accurately completed.
- A final detailed read though by the translator will be performed 5 or more hours after completion of the translation to allow for more accurate editing.
- Upon delivery of every project, Sonne Language Services will directly contact the client to ensure that the translation has been received and that it meets the specifications outlined in the agreement.
- Sonne Language Services will also provide a translation feedback form for all clients.
